As a former track and field athlete, running has always been my passion. I come from a family of runners and it was simply expected that the son of Jamaican parents would eventually make it to the track.
Today as a husband and father of two, fitness has been a central part of my life. I’ve adopted CrossFit as my primary fitness tool because it includes a lot of road running, track work, and interval training. Running keeps me fit and healthy, clears my mind, and challenges me to be better.
As a CrossFitter, workouts can include up to 2 miles of intense running mixed with weight training and other exercises; and adventure races like Tough Mudders and Warrior Dashes provide a fun environment to run 5 and 10K’s with the added challenge of obstacles to test your fitness.
