20 mile 5 bridges training runThis is the signature run for marathoners in training. Join us on October 8, 2017 at 6:30am as we run 20 miles traveling across 5 bridges and run along part of the TCS New York City Marathon course.

We start Houston Street and the FDR crossing 5 bridges and traveling 6 miles along the TCS NYC Marathon course from Bedford Ave across the Pulaski and 59th street Bridges. Once we cross the 59th Street bridge into Manhattan we’re running south to the FDR Park and end where we began. We will have a vehicle riding and meeting us at key points with water, Gatorade and fruit to replenish runners along the course.

This course was designed to add extra stress by crossing 3 bridges prior to 10 miles of running. On marathon Sunday after you cross the Verazzano Bridge you are running along either flat or small inclines until you reach the Pulaski Bridge at the halfway point. Running this course will prepare you both physically and mentally for the NYC Marathon.

This training run is free for club members and $15.00 for non members for the 20 mile or 10 mile training run and $25.00 for both training runs.

This run has been cancelled.  The 10 Mile run will still take place click on the link for the 10 mile run.

It was a great group run! I needed this 20-mile to ensure I am ready for NYCM2015.
I can not thank you Stephen and Run2Live support staff enough. My 1st marathon and due to the training plan, support of Run2Live family I am READY for the 2015 TCS NYC Marathon. That 20 mile run..... love love love it. This is EPIC
I got more than what I expected. Stephen provided coaching and tips the entire way! I learned so much! My pacer was awesome. No one was left behind. He was everything from a pacer, to an encourager, even a crossing guard at intersections. I will definitely continue to run with Run2Live. This was the best group run I've ever had! Thank you so much!

It's amazing to run with a group. You're all going through a very difficult trial together. Its like running with family... We all encourage each other every step of the way... The cramped legs... The sweat... The pain... It's all worth it. Especially when you finish your run with the same people you started with.
I just want to say THANK YOU for such a great 20 Mile 5 Bridges Run. My team coach Sean/Shawn (not sure of spelling) was amazing! I ran with a great group of 4 men. They were so supportive and encouraging. I can’t thank everyone enough for this experience. I would never have challenged myself if it were not for Run2LIVE! Yes I did stop at the 16 Mile mark but I crossed each bridge! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!
Running the last 10 miles of the marathon route with Run2Live was great! I really can't say that there are improvements to be made. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this run with the group. Coach Jackson and his staff were very friendly and welcoming. The last 10 miles of the NYC marathon route was excellent and just what I needed to give me the confidence builder to run the marathon on November 2nd.
This was my first bridge experience and I must say I really enjoyed it! Thank you for being so on point because it really calmed my nerves.
Run2Live has been an absolute blessing in my life. There is no way I would have been able to get to this point in my running career and prepare for my first Marathon without the help of Coach Jackson and his wonderful dedication to myself and my running team mates. I was a bit apprehensive when joining since I am based upstate NY and the coach and most of my running team are based in NYC, but Coach Jackson was able to direct and guide me as if I were there in person, which was a blessing. I am looking forward to the time of my life with confidence at the NYC Marathon and look forward to pursuing and achieving other running goals thereafter.
